Nuno Mendes completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2014 at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, and his Master's in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 at the same university. He is an Assistant Professor at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He has published several articles in specialized journals and technical books. He has organized events and received awards and honors. He has been involved in various research projects in the field of Engineering and Technologies Sciences with emphasis on Mechanical Engineering (automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing).
