DEGREES AND PROFESSIONAL SITUATION PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from the St. Petersburg State University (Russia), 1997. Assistant researcher at the CESAM and Chemistry Department, University of Aveiro. THE PRINCIPAL SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS Development of electrochemical and optical sensors, sensor materials based on polymers including molecularly imprinted polymers, development and analytical application of multisensor systems (“electronic tongue”) for qualitative and quantitative analysis, hyperspectral near-infra red imaging, chemometrics including experimental design, pattern recognition and multivariate calibration methods. PUBLICATIONS Total number of publications is 307 including 90 articles, 6 book chapters, 2 patents, 33 conference proceedings and 176 conference communications. Total number of citations is 3091 (2859 without self-citations), the average citation per item is 29 and associated h-index is 31 (data from ISI Web of Science, April 2020). AWARDS Wolfgang Gopel Award for the best paper at ISOEN 2017 conference, Montreal, Canada, 31 of May, 2017.
