With a degree in Hodrography and Geodesy from Havana University, a PhD in Technical Sciences, Branch in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence, Matching Learning and Patterns Recognition from Havana University, Javier Lamar León is Assistant Researcher at the Department of Informatics and Admin of the GPU Cluster Vision at the BigData Laboratory, University of Évora. He is an member of the Algoritmi Research Center. At the University of Évora, Member of the Cuban Association of Pattern Recognition, Member of the International Association in Pattern Recognition (IAPR), Member of the CIMA-GROUP, Combinatorial Image Analysis Research Group. Department of Applied Math, School of Computer Engineering University of Seville, Spain. He was Project Manager, Second and First Head of Pattern Recognition Department from Interprise Datys, Division of Research (CENATAV), Havana, Cuba (2014-2019). He have participated in the folows projects, like Project manager and developer: Algorithms for video surveillance, Gait recognition, Object detection, Abandoned object detection, Stolen object detection, Car models recognition, Human Groups detection, Human re-identification, Anomaly detection for video surveillance, Gait recognition using TDA (Topological data analysis), etc. He has research visits at the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University, China (2019) and Applied Math Dept. I, IMUS, Seville University, Spain (2012, 2013, 2022). He has published 20 articles in proceedings of scientific meetings and Journal. Advisor of students in ¿bachelor work of Mathematic¿ and ¿bachelor work of Computer Science¿ from Havana University. Her research focuses on Matching Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Video Surveillance, Gait Recognition, Natural language processing (NLP) and Topological Data Analysis. He has used the following Language, tools of programming and library: Visual Studio C++, Python, Matlab, Tensorflow, Keras, Caffe (C++ lib), OpenCV ( Image Processing C++ lib), Boost (C++ lib), CGAL & GUDHI (TDA C++ lib), ROS Robot Operating System, etc.
