I graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2019 (Grade: 17/20) and obtained my MSc degree in 2022 (Grade: 20/20) both at Unicamp - Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Brazil). During my graduation, I worked as a researcher intern in a project aiming the obtention of adsorption isotherms for bovine serum albumin (BSA) in DEAE-TOYOPEARL that was funded by CNPq, the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. My MSc dissertation was titled "Study of diffusion aspects in confined media subject to external electric potential for application in catalysis via Molecular Dynamics simulations" and focused on the application of electrostatic catalysis in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by performing all-atom Molecular Dynamics simulation. The project was funded by the Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuel Brazilian agency (ANP) and aimed to understand the behaviour of the products of the Fischer-Tropsch reaction, namely methane, butane and pentene, in aqueous solutions under the application of an electric field. In March of 2023 I started my PhD in Chemical Engineering at University of Aveiro (UA), aiming the development of a sustainable, cost-effective and efficient process for the recovery and separation of platinum group metals from spent automotive catalytic converters, in line with the principles of Circular Economy and Green Chemistry. As a researcher intern my BSc project was presented at the XXIV Unicamp Scientific Initiation Congress (2016) with the publication of a conference summary and the presentation of a poster entitled “Determination of bovine serum albumin adsorption isotherms in DEAE-TOYOPEARL”. My MSc thesis led to the publication of a scientific article on the journal Fuel (IF= 8.035) concerning the diffusion of fluids confined in carbonate minerals. Currently, I have one more article under preparation focusing on the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis regarding confined fluids between graphene walls. At Unicamp I was also involved in a series of extracurricular activities, namely as member of the organization committee of events such as the II University meeting on social responsibility and sustainability (II ENURES) and III ProFEQ, a public exhibition of the scientific research developed on the Chemical Engineering Faculty. Moreover, between 2018 and 2019, I had an experience in the Solvay Group acting in process engineering to the development of industrial projects for Latin America. Additionally, during my MSc, I engaged in pedagogical activities for the Chemical Engineering BSc course at Unicamp, acting as the professor assistant in the Process Analysis and Simulation classes along with the mentoring of an undergraduate student in her project developed in my research group.
