Elisabete Figueiredo (elisalacerda@isa.ulisboa.pt) is an agricultural engineer (ISA/UTL) and PhD in Agronomy (ISA/UTL). She is Assistant Professor at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, teaching crop protection, entomology and zoology subjects. She is a full researcher at LEAF - Linking Landscape, Environment, Agriculture and Food, at Instituto Superior de Agronomia. Her main research interests are related to crop protection, integrated pest management, risk assessment, applied entomology, biological control, insect pathology, conservation biocontrol, pollination, ecological infrastructures. She was a team member of 27 research projects and she coordinated 3 of them. She supervised/co-supervised 1 post-doctoral graduation, 4 PhD (3 ongoing), 3 PhD student internships, 37 MSc , 33 (5-years) and 23 (3-years) graduation thesis, and 5 research initiation grants from ISA/UTL, ISA/ULisboa, FC/UL, U. Açores, UTAD, U. Évora and ESAS/IPS. She organized 19 national / international scientific/technical meetings. She is author of >110 publications: 4 technical books, 26 book chapters, > 30 ISI articles, plus 27 in other international scientific journals, 30 in scientific national journals, and several in proceedings of scientific meetings and national technical journals.
