Francisco Leite is a Research Fellow since December 2023 at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials in the project Drivolution - Transição para a Fábrica do Projeto (C644913740-00000022). He completed his Licenciatura in Materials Engineering in 2022 at the University of Aveiro and his Master's Degree in Materials Engineering in 2023 at the same institution with the project "Selective laser melting of nano TiC-reinforced 18Ni300 Maraging steel for injection moulding applications" in collaboration with Simoldes Aços S.A. He participated in Young Engineers Day 2023 organised by the European Powder Metallurgy Association during EuroPM2023 and he has recently submitted a scientific paper to the Journal of Materials Research and Technology. During his academic path, he did two Summer internships and he was part of an additive manufacturing laboratory of the Electroceramics Group in the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering at the University of Aveiro. His main interests are additive manufacturing of metals and metal matrix composites.
