I have a European PhD with maximum classification between 2 universities located in Portugal (the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Vila Real) and Spain (University of La Rioja, Logroño). My expertise is antibiotic resistance/ microbiology/ genetics/ biotechnology, and my Ph.D. thesis was entitled ¿Extended-spectrum ß-lactamases and carbapenemases in Enterobacteriaceae of pets, wild animals, and humans. Are we facing a public health problem?¿. I published 19 scientific articles (17 Q1/Q2 journals), 3 book chapters, and 40 presentations at international congresses. My academic career involved Biomedical Engineering, a master's in Biotechnology for Health Sciences, and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences. I have been a reviewer in Q1 journals since 2016.
