Ana Catarina Pinho is an interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of visual culture, photography, and documentary. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of South Wales and is currently a is a researcher at IHA-Nova University of Lisbon, and the Global Art Archive, University of Barcelona. Pinho serves on the editorial boards of 'Arte y Sociedad' and 'Archivo Papers' and is the convener of the conference 'Reframing the Archive'. As the founding coordinator of ARCHIVO, she has established an international platform that contributes to the dissemination of scholarly and artistic practices, fostering critical thinking in visual culture.
