Angela holds a degree in International Relations and during her Master’s in Marketing Management, she had the opportunity to explore her research interests, particularly focusing on food packaging. With 14 years of diverse professional experience, she has built a strong foundation in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Angela spent 5 years as a Pfizer representative, gaining deep industry knowledge and honing her communication skills with healthcare professionals. She then worked for 4 years as a Logistics Manager, enhancing her organizational and management skills in dynamic environments. Until 2021, Angela served as a Pharmacy Consultant for 5 years, providing strategic solutions to improve efficiency and performance, collaborating closely with pharmacists, accountants, and pharmacy teams. In addition to her professional experience, Angela has been deeply involved in academia. She was accepted into a Marketing Strategy doctoral program at the University of Minho, where she focuses on social and public marketing. Over the last 3 years, she has been admitted to present her research at 4 international conferences, further establishing her academic presence and in early 2023, she published a book chapter in a social marketing and nonprofit book, showcasing the beginnings of her investigation. Last year, she was given the opportunity to teach as a professor at UTAD, and by the end of the year, she was awarded a scholarship by the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) to support her research. Now in the final year of her PhD, Angela is eager to transition fully into academia, where she can share her extensive knowledge and experience. As Angela approaches the final year of her PhD, she aspires to remain in academia as a professor. She is eager to continue her research, focusing on topics such as social and public marketing, consumer behaviour, advertising, and communication. Angela is enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to these fields while sharing her knowledge and experience with students and colleagues alike.
