Sabrina Scuri is an Integrated Member of Laboratório de Robótica e Sistemas de Engenharia (LARSyS) and Researcher at Associação Comercial e Industrial do Funchal Completed where she is working on the H2020 "SMart IsLand Energy systems" (SMILE) project. In 2009 and 2012, respectively, Sabrina received a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design and a Master's of Science in Communication Design, both from Politecnico di Milano. In 2017 she received a Ph.D. in Design (with Honours) from Politecnico di Milano. From 2017 to 2020, she worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at ITI/LARSyS on the H2020 SMILE project. Her research interest resides at the intersection of interaction design, user experience, and HCI, with a focus on the opportunities offered by combining sensing technologies with digital media to design digitally mediated experiences that help raise awareness on environmental issues and energy efficiency. So far, Sabrina has authored 1 Journal publication, 1 book, and several peer-reviewed conference papers.
