Pedro Abreu

Pedro Abreu é investigador no Laboratório de Argumentação, Cognição e Linguagem (ArgLab) do Instituto de Filosofia da NOVA, onde coordena o grupo de investigação Filosofia da Linguagem e Argumentação (PhiLa), e professor convidado no Departamento de Filosofia da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. Pedro é doutorado em Filosofia, no ramo de Lógica e Filosofia da Linguagem (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 2018). Desde 2023, é membro da Direcção da Sociedade Portuguesa de Filosofia Analítica. É especialista em filosofia da linguagem, com foco particular em metassemântica, teoria da interpretação e engenharia conceptual. _________________________________________________________________ Pedro Abreu is a researcher at the Laboratory of Argumentation, Cognition and Language (ArgLab) of the NOVA Institute of Philosophy, where he coordinates the Philosophy of Language and Argumentation (PHILA) research group, and invited professor at the Department of Philosophy of The NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. Pedro holds a PhD degree in Philosophy (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 2018). Since 2023, he has been a member of the Steering Committee of the Portuguese Society for Analytic Philosophy. He specializes in the philosophy of language, with a particular focus on metasemantics and interpretation.
