Diogo Marinheiro completed his MSc Degree in Food Biotechnology in February 2021, and his BSc Degree in Biotechnology in July 2018 both from the University of Aveiro. In the development of his BSc project and MSc thesis, he quickly and autonomously acquired several technical and laboratory skills for the synthesis and characterization of metallodrugs and inorganic nanoparticles, using fluorescence, UV/vis, FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, DSC, BET, STEM, among other. His work was fruitful and accepted for publication in the SCI-indexed journal Materials (first author). Diogo presented his MSc thesis results in an Oral Communication at the 14º Encontro de Química Física (Sociedade Portuguesa de Química). He has also participated in several academic workshops and in meetings for communicating science to the general public. Moreover, parallel to his academic studies, Diogo also dedicated time to part-time jobs.
