Possui graduação em Farmácia Industrial pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2005) e mestrado em Ciências Farmacêuticas pela Universidade de São Paulo (2008). É doutora pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, sendo parte do trabalho de tese realizado com bolsa sanduíche na Universitá Degli Studio di Parma, no ano de 2011, sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Paolo Colombo. Fez pos doc na University of Technology Sydney na área de nanotecnologia para Skin delivery e foi pesquisadora de pos doc na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, na area de nanotecnologia e nose to brain delivery. Foi é Gerente de Novos Negócios da Mistura da Terra Indústria de Cosméticos e atualmente investigadora júnior do grupo de pesquisa em desenvolvimento de formas farmacêuticas solidas orais por impressão 3D na Universidade de Lisboa . Tem experiência na área de Farmácia, com ênfase em Farmacotécnica e Tercnologia Farmacêutica, atuando nos seguintes temas: micropartículas, nanopartículas, filmes poliméricos, delivery sistems, impressão 3D.
