I am a postdoc reseacher at CIBIO/BIOPOLIS. I concluded my Master in Ecology, Biodiversity and Ecosystems in 2011 at the University of Aveiro and my PhD at 2022 at University of Porto. I work mostly on Genetics, Metabarcoding and Ecology but also have some ongoing work on ecotoxicology field. My main focus has been the study of microbiome of amphibians and how it is affected by ecological factors, but I also work on several other different subjects including the toxic effects of environmental contaminants on amphibians and other freshwater organisms. I have colaborated in studies assessing the trophic networks in diverse communities and in the surveys of desert fauna. I published 12 papers in peer-review journals, 5 as main author. Currently I have two manuscript submitted and other 2 in preparation.
