Sara Pereira. Completed the Master in Applied Biochemistry in 2019/10 at the School of Sciences, University of Minho, after the first degree in Biochemistry 2017/07 by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Biomedical Sciences doctoral program, Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (University of Porto), under the FCT funded project ExoSperm: Vesicle-to-spermatozoon trafficking of metabolic signatures and Infertility - 2021.05487.BD. She focuses her work in the field of Biomedicine, particularly in Reproductive Biology. Her work has resulted in 7 published review papers, 5 original papers, and several oral and poster presentations on various national and international meetings. She participated in the co-supervision of 4 students. She has also been involved in the projects: TRaitor- TrackingTRAnsgenerational epigenetic Inheritance of metabolic diseases Transmitted via overweight or obese fathers -PTDC/MEC-AND/28691/201; and Spermboost: Improving Sperm Quality During and After Storage, funded by MerckKGaA.
