Andreia Manão, PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre (LU-LUC). She teaches undergraduate psychology and the transdisciplinary master's in sexology at LU-LUC. Junior researcher at HEI-Lab- Human-environment Interaction Lab. Manão is training to become a clinical sexologist (Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology) and has an advanced qualification in working with LGBTQIA+ people. She has written scientific papers and a book chapter on sexology, transdiagnostic factors and online psychological interventions - with qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She is a member of several renowned institutions, including the International Academy of Sex Research, the International Society for Sexual Medicine, the Portuguese Association of Behavior Therapy and the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology. She has won scholarships as a Research Fellow in three projects, as well as a PhD scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology. She has won 2 awards (of International Academy of Sex Research and of International Society for Sexual Medicine)
