Catarina Pinto Reis got the PhD degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Technology) in 2008 by Universidade de Coimbra, Faculdade de Farmácia. The Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences was obtained from the same university. She was Assistant Professor at ULHT and ERISA from 2007-2017. Since April 2017, she is Assistant Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy (University of Lisbon) with Habilitation (2022) in Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal. She is Researcher at iMed.Ulisboa (2017-) and IBEB-FCUL (from 2011-). She is also PK assessor at INFARMED. She published more than 133 articles in journals (Indexed Scopus), 18 book(s) and 4 patents (one conceded). She has more than 4636 citations (h-index 32). She made 37 invited oral communications. She presented more than. 43 oral communications and more than 250 posters in international meetings. She has received 24 awards and/or honors. Her main interest is in Pharmaceutical Technology, particularly in the preparation of delivery systems containing bioactive compounds and in the evaluation of the quality, efficacy and safety of medicines for human and veterinary use, health products and medical devices using in silico, in vitro and in vivo models.
