Researcher with 10 years of experience in the fields of macroeconomics, economic growth and production theory, energy systems, environment, sustainability and climate change. Working in the transdisciplinary field of ecological economics, applying concepts from thermodynamics to economic understanding, while collaborating with international researchers based at various academic institutions in Europe and the USA. Focused on the econometric investigation of the historical relationships linking energy use, energy efficiency, and energy services, with innovation/technological change and economic growth. Proficient programming skills applied to econometric analysis - namely non-stationarity, cointegration, and Granger non-causality testing of time series and panel data - with applications to the development of models for scenario-building to inform policy action. Engaged in science-communication activities, both at international conferences, in the classroom and interacting with stakeholders. Team worker.
