Bruno Valentim currently works at the Department of Geosciences, Environment and Spatial Plannings, Faculty of Sciences of Porto University, and is Integrated researcher at the Institute of Earth Sciences. Bruno does research in Geology, Petrology, Geochemistry, and Circularity. Much of the current research deals with critical and strategic raw materials (phosphorus, rare earth elements, lithium, graphite, ferrospheres) in ashes (coal, biomass, poultry litter, municipal solid waste) and spent lithium-ion batteries.
