Inês Couto Rodrigues finished, in 2020, her master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from ICBAS, University of Porto. She completed her professional training period at University of Santiago de Compostela, at Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR), at Cooperativa of Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte da Barca and at Microbiology and Food Technology laboratory, improving knowlegde of Food Security and Public Health. Before engaging in the master's degree, Inês successfully concluded the first-year degree of Aquatic Sciences at ICBAS. Currently, she works as an invited assistant professor at ICBAS and holds the role of a Superior Technician at the Microbiology and Food Technology laboratory at ICBAS-UP. Her expertise encompasses clinical microbiology, antibiotherapy, and the screening of new antimicrobial compounds, performing functions that are as diverse as teaching support, teaching, tutoring and co-tutoring students, research, designing and writing research projects, coauthoring scientific articles, scientific dissemination, technical training and providing clinical microbiology services for veterinary hospitals.
