2022/02/18 - 2022/02/21 | Actively participated in the event and supervised our junior researchers to successfully demonstrate our energy-generating
vibration sensor prototypes to the (graduate) students. Besides, the demonstrators also include a flappy bird game interface
active with touch sensor prototypes, the model city lit up with LEDs by the energy generating prototype device.

2021/09/24 - 2021/09/24 | "Eco-sustainable devices for mechanical-to-electrical energy conversion enabling low power consumption autonomous devices":
This was the demonstrator we presented together with the CENIMAT-i3N group. More than 500 visitors came to our desk which
included kids to adults, teachers to smart professionals. The idea was to present our prototypes to the public for exhibiting
science while at the same time spreading social awareness about green and sustainable energy.

European Researchers´Night 2021 |
2021/07/19 - 2021/07/23 | Together with CENIMAT-i3N researchers took active participation in this event. One of the Ph.D. students under my mentoring
demonstrated a workshop on "Fibras electrónicas que geram energia!" (Electronic fibers that generate energy) to the students
of 9th-12th standards. This whole week of July, the students were learning with us, how they can generate energy from our
daily waste energies with body movements with functionalized textile fibers. Starting from functionalization to device making
to application-they learnt and executed all by themselves.

2020/11/03 - 2020/11/04 | This was a demonstration of several mechanical energy harvester prototypes developed at Cenimat (FCT UNL) during different
research projects. The development processes of these devices with planar or linear configurations are also demonstrated,
as well as their application when connecting simple electrical devices such as an analog clock and LEDs. (Presentation was

2019/10/23 - 2019/10/23 | In this event, we have shown our textile-based energy harvester prototype to school and university students coming from different
areas. We gave them a chance for hands-on experience with the prototype to realize how it works and actually power up LEDs
just by hand patting.

RAW Materials University Day 2019
Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal
|
2019/07/08 - 2019/07/12 | It was a 5-day event where many high school and university students come to learn and participate in ongoing research activities.
We utilized this platform for reaching directly to the next generation to promote and encourage our latest findings on conducting
polymer-based energy harvester. During these days the student functionalize textile fibers with the energy harvesting material
by our protocols and they also managed easily to power LEDs with the device they made. They were quite enthusiastic about
the outcome of their activity.

|
2019/04/24 - 2019/04/24 | In this event, we presented our paper and textile-based 2 prototypes to make aware the students coming from different parts
of Portugal along with their teachers, about the necessity of renewable energy and green technology to our society and how
we are aiming that with our work.

EXPO 2019
Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Portugal
|
2018/07/09 - 2018/07/13 | This platform for the scientific workshop was 5 days of research interaction with the students. As an active member of the
1D-Neon project, I was responsible to teach the students how to functionalize textile fibers for fiber transistors. They were
excited to learn the process of fiber transistor fabrication.
