Dominik is a dedicated researcher with a background in biology and social ecology. His expertise spans diverse sociocultural contexts, where he has explored resource utilization, sustainability transitions, and transdisciplinary processes. During his doctoral studies, Dominik played a pivotal role in co-managing a long-term transdisciplinary project situated on the Greek island Samothraki. This experience shaped his ability to navigate complex research landscapes and foster collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. Since 2023, Dominik has been a member of the Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment, and Development (MED) at the University of Évora. Here, he continues to leverage his inter- and transdisciplinary skills to contribute meaningfully to the institute's mission. His work at the institute is dedicated to the role of energy infrastructures in shaping land systems, the role of biotechnology in food production, and social capital as means to develop prosper rural areas.
