My research focuses on developing next-generation thin-film sensing systems using PVD processes. By meticulously controlling composition, crystal structure, morphology, and growth architecture at the nanoscale, these films achieve remarkable functionalities. My expertise lies in the GLAD technique, which allows precise tailoring of film growth geometry for specific sensing applications. While rooted in physics, my research fosters a multidisciplinary approach, drawing upon the strengths of materials science and engineering. The applications of this research span various industries, with the potential to develop novel sensors for diverse physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, and humidity. Additionally, it paves the way for innovative thermomagnetic thin films capable of energy harvesting.
