Natanael Filipe Ferreira Fernandes is a PhD student in Biomedicine from University of Beira Interior (UBI). Specifically, his research has been focused on gold-core silica shell nanoparticles (AuMSS) in cancer therapy, as multifunctional agents capable of combining drug delivery and photothermal therapy with their intrinsic imaging potential.
