Beatriz Domingues completed her B.Sc. in Biochemistry at the University of Minho (2016) and her M.Sc. in Cell and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (2018). During her M.Sc., she received two awards: an honorable mention for her scientific work on possible new therapies for skin cancer and a merit scholarship award due to her exceptional educational performance. Currently, Beatriz is a PhD student at 3B's Research Group, University of Minho, under the scope of the doctoral program in Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells. For her PhD, she is working on strategies to reduce urinary device-associated complications.
