Researcher for the FibEnTech investigation unit (Fiber Materials and Environment Technologies). BSc and master's degree in biotechnology, with a thesis about "C. vulgaris: Influence of light intensity and exposure to H2O2 on growth and accumulation of lipids and carotenoids.". Currently pursuing a Ph.D. with funding provided by Biotek S.A., my research focuses on the valorization of by-products from the paper and pulp industry, specifically lignin and hemicelluloses, employing both chemical and biotechnological approaches. My research encompasses various aspects, including exploring lignin polymerization via laccase as a substitute binder for fossil-based materials, producing xylooligosaccharides from hemicelluloses through chemical and enzymatic processes, and evaluating intrinsic pulp parameters to enhance its dissolution properties.
