I am currently taking a PhD Programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine from the University of Coimbra. I received my Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in 2018 from the University of Coimbra and my Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology in 2015 from the University of Évora. During the last year of my Degree, I took a curricular internship at the Chemistry Department of the University of Évora. I performed my Master thesis in the Structural Biotechnology Group at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, under the supervision of Dr. Ricardo S. Vieira-Pires (CNC) and Prof. João Nuno Moreira (CNC). During my Master thesis entitled " Exploring Japanese quail immune repertoires for antibody discovery¿" I studied the potential of Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) immune repertoires for mAb development and successfully amplified and sequenced quail antibody light and heavy chains. I authored and co-authored 2 peer-reviewed publications and 4 posters were presented in Conferences, manly for the Microbiotec Event.
