Hélder Ferraz holds a PhD in Educational Sciences (FPCEUP) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analysis, with research focused on public policies and socio-educational inequalities, programme evaluation, and learning outcomes. His pioneering research on the TEIP programme combined mixed methods and longitudinal analyses of national examination data, contributing to the debate on effectiveness and equity in education. He has published in international journals (e.g. Policy Futures in Education, 2025) and has another article accepted for publication in 2026 (Acta Paedagogica Vilnensia).
