Carlos F. M. Silva was born in Vila Nova de Gaia (Portugal) in 1993. He graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Aveiro in July 2014. Then, he followed his master studies in the same institution having concluded the degree in December 2016. In Feb 2023, he received his Ph.D. in Sustainable Chemistry, with honors and distinction, from the University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Full Professor Artur M. S. Silva (University of Aveiro) and Doctor Pedro A. Fernandes (University of Porto). During his Ph.D., he was involved in the guidance of 5 students in the Final Project of the Bachelor's Degree (including 2 ERASMUS students), 1 student in the Master's final thesis and 1 student in a extracurricular project. Published 7 articles in peer-review SCI international journals (h-index 5, 120 citations) and one book chapters. He participated in several National and International scientific conferences, having presented 9 oral communications and 6 panel communications.
