Carlos M. S. Vicente received the PhD degree in Physics from the University of Aveiro in 2012 on the subject: “Organic-inorganic hybrids for integrated optics low cost applications”. He is currently postdoctoral researcher at IDMEC (Instituto Superior Técnico)participating on the project: “3D Printing of Polymers in Large Parts”, PTDC/EME-EME/32103/2017. During the last years he participated on several R&D projects on themes such as: advanced materials, integrated optics and optical fiber networks. His present research interests include: advanced materials and manufacturing, photonics, composite materials, 3D printing, technology transfer and digitalization.
