Davys is a violinist, teacher of musical interpretation, music therapist, and conductor of children's orchestras with extensive professional experience. He has master’s degrees in music education (Chile) and Music Therapy (Brazil) and during the development of his doctorate, he carried out a doctoral internship in the Department of Musical Informatics at the University of Milan (Italy). In his work, Davys has promoted the development of children's orchestras to democratize music teaching and music therapy intervention in the first and second cycles of primary school. Davys recently obtained, with Praise and Merit, the Title of European Doctor in Education from the University of Aveiro (Portugal) with the Thesis entitled: Inclusion of Children with Cerebral Palsy in Arts Education Programmes of Music: From Research to Action. His current area of research is centred on promoting the participation of all children in teaching/learning processes, bringing out the best in each of them, so that there is no need to talk about inclusion.
