I have finished my scholar part of the Doctoral Programme in Mathematics with grade 17.63/20 (48 ECTS) at University of Évora, Portugal. I hold a Master degree in Applied Mathematics by Vietnam National University of Science (thesis “A fixed point theorem with applications to nonconvex optimisation”) and a Bachelor degree in Pure Mathematics by Quy Nhon University, Vietnam. I attended some courses with Professor Joaquim M. C. Correia from University of Évora about Partial Differential Equations done in Portugal and abroad ( “Review Aspects for Nonlinear PDEs” in March-July 2022, Philippines), and I attended the schools CIMPA School 2022 (Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées) “Mathematical Modeling of Ecosystems” in Philippines and the AESIM School 2023 (Asian and European Schools in Mathematics) “Mathematics for Health Sciences” in India. In 2022 I was awarded a financial support by CIMPA to register in the PhD Programme in Mathematics at University of Évora where I would like to prosecute my studies in Applied Mathematics, especially concerned with Biology and Health Sciences. In this area I did a mini project on "Problems of population dynamics" advised by Professor Michael Grinfeld (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, and CIMA, Évora, Portugal) along the AESIM School 2023, and during two months October-November 2023 I visited the laboratory LAMFA, Université de Picardie Jules Verne, France, where I have been introduced to the research on “Mathematical Modelling and Analysis of the Tumor Coagulome” under supervision of Professor Erwan Hingant, as part of the European collaboration project IEA project No. IEA00810 between the CIMA, Portugal, and the LAMFA, France. At the present I prepare some background about the subject of my PhD thesis “Mathematical Modelling of Bone Diseases: a study on Osteoporosis” to be conducted under the supervision of Professor Joaquim M. C. Correia, University of Évora, Portugal, and Professor Erwan Hingant, Université de Picardie Jules Verne, France.
