Liliana Capitão is an Auxiliary Researcher at the School of Psychology, University of Minho (Braga, Portugal). She is also an honorary member of the Department of Psychiatry from Oxford University. Liliana holds an MSc in Neurosciences (2009-2010) and a DPhil in Psychiatry/Affective Neurosciences (2010-2014) from Oxford University (UK), having previously completed her training in Clinical Psychology in Portugal (University of Minho, 2003-2008). Liliana's research interests lie at the interface between Neurosciences, Psychology and Engineering, with a focus on cognition and emotional processing. In her research, she uses a variety of techniques, including brain imaging, computational modelling, psychophysiology and psychopharmacology in a range of clinical and healthy populations.
