Simon Okechukwu Ayogu holds a Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Minho, Master's in Human Resource Management from the University of Minho in 2020/07/31, Master's Integrated Degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Portugal, Faculty of Theology Porto in 2011/05/11, after having obtained his First Degree (BA) in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria Nsukka - Spiritan School of Philosophy Isienu in 2005/06/30. In his curriculum vitae, the most frequent terms in his scientific, technological and artistic-cultural output are migration, transnationalism, church, humility, leadership, servant leadership and service. His interest in migration and transnationalism resulted from interactions and close connections with migrants, mostly of African origin, in Portugal and other parts of the global North. Many perceive migration as an emerging world order, but at best, it can be described as an old idea or a reality in a new box. Recent studies in the field show that transnational relations are the path of humanity's quest for actualisation and self-transcendence.
