Paulo Dias earned his diploma (5 years) in Chemical Engineering in 2004 and his Master's degree in Paints and Coatings in 2008 from the University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal. He also completed an MBA in Business Management in 2011 at IDEP - Instituto de Especialização Profissional, Porto, Portugal. He has worked in the industry in areas such as environmental, renewable energies, hydrogen-related technologies, and innovation. Additionally, he has worked as a research fellow at the University of Coimbra, University of Aveiro, and College of Agriculture of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra on several research projects related to polymer science, materials science, rheology, metabolic networks and supercritical technology. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in the Doctoral program in Biorefineries at the University of Coimbra, under the project "inpactus - innovative products and technologies from eucalyptus." His PhD thesis is entitled "High dimensional stability papers".
