Nanja Kroon is an Assistant Professor at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal). She holds a Ph.D. in Management (specializing in Accounting) from Beira Interior University. She received an MSc in Management Control from the School of Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Coimbra (IPC) in 2011 and a degree in Accounting and Administration from the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu in 2004. Her research interests include accounting professionals' competencies, accounting education, financial accounting, and management accounting. She was a practicing Certified Accountant until 2019 and has been a professional trainer in accounting and management since 2008.
