I graduated in 2017 and completed my master's degree in 2019 in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aveiro. I had a short stint in the world of industrial chemistry where I developed my master's thesis "Development of flame retardant acrylic fibers from acrylonitrile copolymerization". During my academic journey I was co-founder of Núcleo da Bicicleta da Universidade de Aveiro (NBicla). In 2019, I earned the opportunity to work with Prof. João Rocha (Director of CICECO at the time) and Prof. Manuel Souto by being selected for the research fellowship "National NMR Network/University of Aveiro-CICECO project PTNMR 22161". In 2020, with the same team I applied for the FCT PhD grants in Chemistry with the Work Project "Electroactive Metal-Organic Framework for Electronic Applications”, and I won (2020.08520.BD). As a Research of the CICECO team, I have been involved in scientific research focused on the development of novel organic and inorganic electro-conductive materials. Over the years, I have honed my skills, allowing me to work independently on a wide range of R&D equipment and techniques, including measure and analyze the electrical conductivity, lithium/sodium-ion battery manufacturing, NMR, FTIR, AFM, SEM, ATM, STM, TEM, spectroscopy, crystallography, rheology, nanoindentation, tribology, corrosion, scratch.
