I completed my BSc in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences - University of Porto and Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar - University of Porto in 2021. Then, I took a MSc in Quality Control with scientific area in Drug Substances and Medicinal Plants at the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Porto, which I completed in October 2023. My master thesis was entitled "Screening of flavonoids and determination of scaffold structures for the development of new effective molecules in the treatment of obesity". The results of my research resulted in two articles already submitted in internacional peer-reviewed jounals. These results also led to three oral presentations (one at an international conference and two at national conferences) and five poster presentations (two at international conferences and three at national conferences). I also attended several conferences and workshops in different fields related to my area of interest. Currently, I am enrolled in the doctoral program in Biotechnology of the University of Aveiro.
