PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC)in the area of the Thermal Sciences (2014). Has master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and research area (2010). Both under the supervisor of Prof:Júlio C.Passos. Graduated in Physics at UFSC having completed the Licence (2005) and Bachelor's (2007). Have experience in the area of physics teaching having taught in elementary and high schools, technical courses and undergraduate courses. Participated in research project developed at Lepten/Boiling at UFSC with the support of the Brazilian Space Agency-AEB and Brazilian Aerospace Institute-IAE, through the Microgravity Program. In parallel with his doctorate, he was a Tutor of Physics course in distance learning in UFSC. Was Professor of Physics at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC), Universidade Sociedade Educacional de Santa Catarina (UNISOCIESC) and SENAI Florianópolis. Has Post-doctorate at UNESP-Ilha Solteira/SP whose theme of his work was: Study of the effect of surface finish on the heat transfer process by boiling, under the supervisor of Prof: Dra. Elaine M.Cardoso and Co-supervisor by the Prof. Dr. Alessandro R. Rodrigues from USP-São Carlos /SP (2017-2019). Were Researcher at Mechanical Engineering and Resource Sustainability Center (MEtRICs) - University of Minho - Campus of Azurém-Guimarães/Portugal, under the supervision of Professor PhD. Rui Alberto Madeira Macedo de Lima, during 02/20200 and 08/2022. My main Interests: heat transfer, nanofluids, thermal conductivity, pool boiling, two phase flows, metal foams, micropillars, nanocoating techniques and renewable energy. Collaborates internationally with the Universities of: i) Federal university of Santa Catarina-UFSC, LEPTEN-Boiling, Florianópolis-SC/Brazil ii) University Center of Serra Gaúcha-FSG, Center of Innovation and Technology, Caxias do Sul-RS / Brazil; iii) University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos-Unisinos, Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program, LETEF, Laboratory of Thermal and Fluid Dynamic Studies; iv) São Paulo State University-Unesp, Ilha Solteira-SP /Brazil, v) University of São Paulo-USP, São Carlos-SP / Brazil. Since April 2023, has been a researcher at the Center for Research in Innovation, Technology, and Policy (IN+) at the Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa. Member of the research group at the Center for Innovation, Technology, and Policy Research, where he is specifically involved in the Termofluids, Combustion, and Energy Systems research group.
