Rita Maria Nobre Serôdio

Completed a Bachelor´s degree in Applied Chemistry at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and a Masters in Chemistry at Instituto Superior Técnico (Universidade de Lisboa). The thesis dissertation titled "PBAT biocomposite with banana pseudo-stem fibers" was conducted at CERENA-IST. Since 2023, she has been a Ph.D. Student in material engineering at Técnico. Her Ph.D. research is focused on the topic entitled: Performance prediction and optimization of bio-composites for additive manufacturing: experimental and machine learning study, presenting a partnership between IST, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
