BÁRBARA RAQUEL SOARES NUNES

Bárbara Raquel Soares Nunes completed her bachelor's in Biochemistry in 2018 at the University of Minho. During this time, she developed her bachelor's project entitled "Avaliação da Produção de Compostos Lipídicos por Leveduras Oleaginosas". After, Bárbara enrolled in the master's program in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP) & Institute of Biomedical Science Abel Salazar (ICBAS) - Porto, Portugal, completed in 2020. Her master's thesis, entitled "Development of new antibiotics for the current public health bacterial threats" was conducted in FCUP, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP). Bárbara is presently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering doctorate program at FEUP, where she is conducting research on the topic of "Effective control strategies for biofilm-related infections based on ionic liquids".
