Polina Poberezkina has a doctorate in Russian Literature and previously held research positions at the Universities of Kyiv and Tallinn, and at the Kyiv A.S. Pushkin Museum. In 2024, she joined the Institute of Contemporary History (NOVA University of Lisbon) as a Collaborating Researcher. Poberezkina is the author and compiler of three books, and co-editor of two volumes. From 1993 to the present, she has also published over 70 book chapters, academic articles, encyclopedia entries, etc. in Ukraine, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and the USA. During this period, she participated in more than 30 scientific conferences and seminars in Ukraine, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Poland, and Russia. She was the initiator and co-founder of the international internet project Kluevoslov, based in Kyiv, Ukraine (2002-2015), and the collaborator of various academic, publishing, and museum projects in Ukraine, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Portugal, and Russia.
