Curriculum Vitae

Rita Nunes Novo is a research fellow (FCT/MCTES UIDB/05704/2020) at the Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology (ciTechCare) and an MSc student in Pediatric Nutrition at the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of Oporto University. She completed her Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition in 2021 from School of Health Sciences of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Her research areas and interests mainly focus on pediatric feeding disorders, pediatric nutrition, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder and nutrition education. Rita is a research fellow in the Veggies4myHeart Project, where she collaborates in the nutritional education of preschool children. Currently, her work is focused on promoting knowledge and consumption of vegetables in preschool children, as well as studying Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
