MARGARIDA RAMOS holds a PhD in Linguistics, with a specialisation in Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology (LLT) from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - NOVA University of Lisbon, and in Information and Communication Sciences, a Doctoral program in Sciences et Ingénierie des Systèmes de l'Environnement et des Organisations (SISEO) from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc, within the frame of an International 'cotutelle' agreement. She completed a master's degree in Terminology and Management of Specialised Information in 2015 from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - NOVA University of Lisbon, where she was awarded Best Masters in 2016, and graduated in Languages and Communication in 2013 by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences - University of Algarve. Former associate researcher within the LLT group at the Linguistics Centre of the NOVA University of Lisbon (NOVA CLUNL) between 2015-2020, and former associate researcher at the Condillac Team of the Computer Science, Systems, Information and Knowledge Processing Laboratory (LISTIC) of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc between 2016-2020, she is currently a full-time researcher at NOVA CLUNL and an integrated member in the LLT group of NOVA CLUNL since May 2021. Her areas of work are a) Linguistics with an emphasis on Terminology, Lexicography, and Lexicology; and b) Information and Communication Sciences with an emphasis on knowledge organisation. She has participated as a grant fellow in 4 projects, within the scope of digital Lexicography and Digital Humanities, and was a PhD student fellow in 1 project between 2016 and 2019, supported by the Foundation for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal (FCT) within the PhD program in Linguistics KRUse - Knowledge, Representation & Use from the NOVA CLUNL.
