Hugo Ricardo Noronha de Almeida. Completed a PhD in Molecular Biology in 28/06/2013 granted by the NOVA University of Lisbon, Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology (CIUHCT), Faculty of Science and Technology, UNL. He is a former postdoctoral researcher at CIEBA, Faculty of Fine Arts, Lisbon University (2013-2016), and an alumni of the Saari Residence, KONE Foundation (Mynämäki, Finland, 2016) and of the residency program of the IMéRA Foundation, Aix-Marseille University (Marseille, France, 2016-2017). Published 4 articles in journals, and has published several comics and printed matter, including the artist book Not-Human, Not-fly. Co-founded two publishing labels and art collectives: Clube do Inferno (2012-2019) and Massacre (2019-). Co-organized the Anthropocene Campus Lisbon: Parallax, organized by CIUHCT and hosted at Culturgest, Lisbon, Portugal. He is a member of the COST project OC-2019-1-23925, titled "Investigation on comics and graphic novels in the iberian cultural area".
