Reinaldo Gomes is a researcher at INESC TEC, specializing in supply chain planning and operations management applied to agroforestry. His work and PhD thesis mainly focus on studying and understanding the impact of flexibility strategies to mitigate uncertainty in supply chains. He participates in several research projects on the circular economy, digitalization, IoT, bio-economy, and supply chain management. He is an Invited Assistant Professor of Smart Agronomic Engineering at UTAD and an Invited Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Operations Management at the University of Aveiro.
