César Casanova is a biomedical researcher specializing in cancer biotechnology, biomaterials, and tissue engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), during which, he studied the effects of natural products on glioblastoma proliferation. He later pursued a Master’s in Biochemistry from UBI, investigating the relationship between endocrine-disrupting chemicals (obesogens) and prostate cancer aggressiveness, exploring how molecular signaling pathways drive tumor progression. César actively collaborates on international research projects, publishes scientific work, and participates in global conferences and outreach initiatives to drive biomedical innovation.
