I am an Associate Professor at Institute for Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) -University of Lisbon. Currently, I serve as Vice-President for Research at ISCSP, where I am also a member of the Scientific Council. Additionally, I am a research fellow at the Centre for Public Administration and Policies (CAPP). My research interest focuses on housing, homeownership, and the welfare state — particularly in Southern European countries. My recent research focus on financialization; comparative eco-social policies; and explores the intersection of housing inequalities from an intergenerational perspective, which has been funded by the Portuguese national funding agency for science, research and technology (FCT), Gulbenkian Foundation and Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRH). I participated in 12 research projects, having coordinated, 2 of them. Currently, I am the PI of the research project: Housing, Welfare and Inequalities in Southern Europe: Exploratory Research from Portugal on Generation Z, financed by FCT (2022.04292.PTCD). I participated in the organization of 16 conferences and workshops, having organized the ESPAnet's 15th international conference, in Lisbon, in 2017. I was invited to participate in 21 national and international conferences, and presenting 50 papers in different academic conferences. I currently teach Housing Policy; Community, Neigbourhood Networks and Housing Policy; and Contemporary Debates in Social Policy. I am having supervised 3 completed PhD in Social Policy, and 9 completed master's theses. I currently publish at Global Social Policy and International Journal of Housing Policy.
