  2. Functionalization of wool with L-cysteine : process characterization and assessment of antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity. This investigation reports a new biotechnological process that uses L-cysteine (L-Cys) which provides a permanent, nontoxic and effective antimicrobial effect over wool-based materials.
