(English Version)- Born in Nigeria, I am a PhD candidate in Geology at the Geosciences Centre, Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology with Geography from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2015) and an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Quaternary and Prehistory, awarded jointly by the Università degli Studi di Ferrara (Italy), Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (Portugal), Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain), and the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (France) (2019). Additionally, I obtained a Master Diploma in Prehistoric Archaeology and Rock Art from the Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (Portugal) in 2019. As a dedicated early-career researcher with international experience, I am committed to advancing knowledge in archaeology, geology, geoarchaeology, soil science, and earth sciences. My research spans Nigeria, Portugal, and Spain, focusing on human-environment interactions, landscape evolution, and Quaternary studies. Passionate about fostering academic collaboration, I strive to contribute to higher education, strengthen global research networks, and promote interdisciplinary studies that enhance our understanding of past environments for a sustainable future. I currently serve as the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Officer for the Stratigraphy and Geochronology Commission of the International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA) and am the elected Secretary of INQUA’s Early Career Research Committee. My vision is to be at the forefront of archaeological and geoarchaeological research, driving innovation and excellence in the field. My research interests include geoarchaeology, micromorphology, environmental archaeology, material culture, prehistoric and historic archaeology, and ethno-archaeology. Como investigador em início de carreira com experiência internacional, estou empenhado em avançar o conhecimento nas áreas da arqueologia, geologia, geoarqueologia, ciência do solo e ciências da terra. A minha investigação abrange a Nigéria, Portugal e Espanha, com foco nas interações entre humanos e ambiente, evolução da paisagem e estudos do Quaternário. Apaixonado pela colaboração académica, procuro contribuir para o ensino superior, fortalecer redes globais de investigação e promover estudos interdisciplinares que melhorem a nossa compreensão dos ambientes do passado para um futuro mais sustentável. Atualmente, sou o representante de Investigadores em Início de Carreira (ECR) na Comissão de Estratigrafia e Geocronologia da União Internacional para a Investigação do Quaternário (INQUA) e fui eleito Secretário do Comité de Investigadores em Início de Carreira da INQUA. O meu objetivo é estar na vanguarda da investigação arqueológica e geoarqueológica, impulsionando a inovação e a excelência na área. Os meus interesses de investigação incluem a geoarqueologia, a micromorfologia, a arqueologia ambiental, a cultura material, a arqueologia pré-histórica e histórica e a etno-arqueologia.
